HOW IT WORKS

Run. Chase. Flip.

  1. 01

    The free run

Every game — and every tag — starts with the taggers frozen. The evader gets a head start to vanish into the network.

  2. 02

    Ride real transit

Trains, buses and ferries run on real timetables. Read the schedule better than your friends and you'll always be one connection ahead.

  3. 03

    Make the tag

Close within 50 m on foot, share the same part of a station, or ride the same train. Station pins don't tell all — being at the same station isn't enough.

  4. 04

    Roles flip

The caught evader joins the chase — and the tagger furthest from their own destination becomes the new evader. Nobody gets to relax.

  5. 05

    Race the clock

The evader wins by reaching their destination. If time runs out, whoever's destination is closest to the evader takes it.

BUILT FOR THE CHASE

No camping. No mercy.

  • The role flip

Every tag reshuffles the hunt. Being furthest from your destination makes YOU the next evader — position is everything.

  • Stray-tagger freeze

Tag happens far from you? You stay frozen longer. Stragglers get punished; the pack stays tight.

  • Cash & power-ups

Complete challenges near stations to earn cash. Evaders buy tracker shake-offs, longer free runs, tagger reveals.

  • Real timetables

The chase obeys the actual schedule. Catch the express or watch the evader pull away on it.

  • Multiplayer chaos

Two to four players — everyone is in the game every second, whether running or chasing.

  • Zero installs

Runs in your desktop browser — no downloads. Set a map, pick a duration, go.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

FAQ

Is it free to play?

Yes — Worldboard is free to play. Members play ad-free and can speed the game clock up all the way to 80×; you can become a member any time from the shop.

How exactly do I tag someone?

Get within about 50 m of the evader on foot, be in the same part of a station (both in the ticket office, or both on the platform), or ride the same train. A shared station pin alone doesn't count.

What stops players from hanging back?

The stray-tagger freeze: the farther you are from where a tag happens, the longer you stay frozen afterward. Out-of-position taggers can be iced for a long time — stay near the chase.

Do I have to physically travel?

No. The game plays entirely in your browser on real map and timetable data. You ride the trains virtually — the schedules are real, your legs stay home.

How long is a game?

You pick the duration when the game is created — the map setup offers a set of game lengths, and the clock decides the winner if nobody reaches their destination first.
