v0.88.0 — The GeoRace League opens, plus a new GeoRace home

  • The GeoRace League is open
    • A ladder of divisions raced over a season. Where you finish in your division's season table is what moves you up or down for the next one.
    • Everyone starts in the entry division, and entering a round is how you join — there is no sign-up.
    • Your best rounds count and your worst one is dropped, so missing a round costs you nothing as long as you race the others.
  • A home for GeoRace
    • A public intro page at /georace explains the mode, with four short gameplay videos
    • A signed-in GeoRace home gathers your races, your saved games, and your standing in the League
    • GeoRace now leads the tabs on your dashboard
  • Past tournaments
    • A new Past tournaments page collects every concluded tournament and its results
    • The lobby's Tournaments section now appears only while a tournament is recent
  • Fewer duplicate departures: a long clean-up pass across dozens of transit feeds means the same train no longer fills a station's board several times over
  • Clearer Tag and Hide & Seek pages: both public rules pages were rewritten to match how the games actually play
  • Bigger station photos and videos: pick a station photo up to 4 MB and a video up to 50 MB; photos are resized in your browser before uploading
  • Fixes
    • Travel Journalist quest chains no longer send you to a destination the same chain already uses
    • Fixed a failure that could prevent a game from starting when a quest location sat beside a Street View photo sphere
